Jai Ganesh Deva Aarti lyrics in English
Jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh deva.
Mata jaki Parvati, pita Mahadeva.
Jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh deva…
Ek dant dayavant, char bhuja dhari.
Mathe sindoor sohe, moose ki savari.
Jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh deva…
Paan chadhe, phal chadhe, aur chadhe meva.
Ladduan ka bhog lage, sant karein seva.
Jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh deva…
Andhan ko aankh det, kodhin ko kaya.
Baanjhan ko putra det, nirdhan ko maya.
Jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh deva…
‘Soor’ Shyam sharan aaye, safal kije seva.
Mata jaki Parvati, pita Mahadeva.
Jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh deva…
Deenan ki laaj rakho, Shambhu sutkari.
Kamna ko poorna karo, jaoon balihari.
Jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh deva…

Meaning of the aarti
Glory to Lord Ganesha, whose mother is Parvati and whose father is Mahadeva (Lord Shiva). He has one tusk, is full of compassion and has four arms; vermilion shines on his forehead and he rides a mouse.
Devotees offer him betel leaves, fruit and dry fruits; laddoos are offered as bhog and saints serve him. By his grace the blind receive sight, the sick a healthy body, the childless a child and the poor wealth.
The poet Surdas says: Lord, I have come to your refuge — make my service fruitful. O son of Shambhu, protect the honour of the humble and fulfil our wishes; I offer myself to you.
