Bhairav Ji Ki Aarti — Jai Bhairav Deva: Lyrics in English and Hindi, Meaning and Puja Method

Last updated: 5 min read By admin
Bhairav Ji Ki Aarti – जय भैरव देवा

Bhairav Ji Ki Aarti — “Jai Bhairav Deva, Prabhu Jai Bhairav Deva” — is the aarti of Kaal Bhairav, the fierce form of Lord Shiva, and Batuk Bhairav, his child form. Bhairav ji is called the Kotwal (guardian) of Kashi and the protector of every Shakti Peeth — it is believed the darshan of the Goddess is not complete without Bhairav’s darshan. The aarti is sung on Sundays, Tuesdays, every monthly Kalashtami and on Margashirsha Krishna Ashtami (Kaal Bhairav Jayanti). Below are the full lyrics in Hindi and English, the meaning of each verse and the puja method.
